Application of TQC Technique in Solving Inter-conversion
Mole Problems
When teaching mole concept, we noticed
that students faced difficulties in interconvert between moles, mass, number of
particles, molar volume of gas at STP and room temperature. This is a crucial
fundamental skill in learning mole concept. If students unable to master the
said problem solving skill, they will face difficulties in other subtopics. By
the application of TQC technique, we able to help students to visualize and
solve the problems in a guided steps. In TQC, students will be guided on how to
link the learned theory(T), to targeted question(Q) and they able to perform the
calculation(C) correctly.
