Problem Statement

Our Key Issue

As an educator in matriculation,we found that most of the students who came from weak background in Chemistry had major problems in recalling back their previous lesson in school.Their understanding in Matter Concept were very weak until they were unable to perform a simple calculation in finding molar mass or atomic mass of atom,leave behind the mole.

What can we summarized of their complication in solving inter-conversion moles question were:
This was such a big issue as we did not expect to teach this concept for long,and indeed it took almost a month for us to monitor their performance in mole and inter-conversion concept.
However, as Winston said :

Hence,to overcome this problem,before we taught the topic of mole concept,we had given our PDT students a test.This test was develop in order to test their prior knowledge and identified their understanding level of mole concept.

After given test, from our observation on their ability and understanding,we concluded that almost 100% of our student were weak in :

Thus,to overcome this problems,we came out an idea of TQC technique in solving the mole inter-conversion problems among our students.We hope that via this method,our students able to perform well in stoichiometric calculation as well as enhancing their understanding about mole concept.
